Here is my finished collage! I am so proud (pun intended…get it, proud?) of how it turned out. I knew I wanted to make something with various pride flags since I’ve been figuring out my own identity recently and somehow the idea of really cool looking horns came about, so those two themes were hooked (pun? it’s a stretch but I think it works) from the start. My first vision was way different than what I ended up with, but I couldn’t be happier.
Process Chat Time: I did a LOT of masking and erasing and warping. I overlaid the flags on the horns, reduced opacity, warped, and erased around a selection I loaded from those I made to separate the animals from their backgrounds. I learned the glory of linking layers and also adjusting modes. And of course, I Googled (but also Ecosia’ed and Unsplashed).
